This is my Christmas wreath hack on how to pimp up your wreath! I don’t know about you, but I haven’t the time to make one from scratch and I do find them a little pricey for my meagre budget! So I am going to share with you my Christmas wreath hack!
I purchased my faux wreath from Homebase a few years back, and this is perfect for a base. The pine is bendable, so it makes it super easy to add bits and pieces to bulk out the wreath. I foraged my foliage, in my garden, do be careful if you go out foraging that you are not stealing from someone’s land! Do ask permission.
As a crafter, I do have lots of bits and bobs around the house, so I sprayed some pinecones gold, dried some oranges, and found some red feathers, jingle bells and Christmas ribbon to add!
YOU WILL NEED:
A faux wreath
Some embellishments of your choosing
Christmas ribbon, wired is best
Some florists wire
Wire cutters
HOW TO:
It really is as simple as adding the bits onto the wreath, either by bending the branches or using the florists wire.
I decided to add some length by simply choosing some ivy and wiring it together in the middle.
Christmas Chair Back
You know I love a good chair back! Now this is my Christmas version and it could not be easier!! It definitely gives the table scape an added something wouldn’t you agree?
YOU WILL NEED:
Faux foliage, make sure you can bend the stems
Christmas Ribbon
HOW TO:
Simply gather the stems and bend over the back of the chair, add the Christmas ribbon into a bow and let it trail down the back.
